Perry Cauthen Jr. & E.J. Morsby III
Cauthen, 27, and Morsby are both suspects in the robbing and killing Trieu Duong, a 54 y/0 Vietnamese immigrant and owner of Jewelry For Less in Fairfield, AL. The shooting occurred about 5pm on Thursday and Cauthen was picked up around 1am. However, it took a little longer to track down Morsby, but he was finally picked up in Virginia on I-81, wearing a t-shirt saying "I'm the one that got away".... Dumb! First, if your man enough to go kill someone, then be man enough to own up to what you did without running. Second, don't wear a shirt as stupid as this. What were they thinking and why was Morsby the only one running? Did he leave Cauthen behind to take the heat for the situation? Did Cauthen tell the cops where Morsby was headed. Why did he have on that shirt? So many questions. Neither one had a record of violent crimes, which leads me to believe Morsby may have pulled the trigger or may be responsible for plotting this up. At least they're both in custody so hopefully we'll have more answers soon. It's a shame that people come to this country thinking they will advance and be able to provide better for their families, only for something as tragic as this to occur.
